Aa• Arithmetic - Using ADDITION, SUBTRACTION,
MULTIPLICATION, DIVISION, and EXPONENTS.
*2 + 2 = 4
*5 – 3 = 2*7 x 2 = 14
*49 / 7 = 7*52 = 25
Bb• Bisect – To divide into two congruent parts.
Cc• Circumference – A distance around a circle.
Dd• Decagon – A ten sided shape.
Ee• Exponents – Is a number that represents
how many times the base number is multiplied by itself.
52 = 25
Ff• Fractions – Tells you the total of how many, and tells
you the sides that are shaded.
This is one whole.
Gg• Graphs – To take points, or to keep track on a table.
Hh• Hexagon – A six sided shape.
Ii• Increase – To grow, or get bigger.

graph steps or jumps from one connected piece of the graph to another.
Kk• Kappa - The letters of ancient Greece, that were
used for math.

integer into which two or more integers divide evenly.
24 is the LCM of 8 and 12
Mm• Multiplication –Timing a number, by a number.
5 x 3 = 15
Nn• Numbers – 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7…
Oo• Octagon – A eight sided shape.
Pp• Parallel – Lines that don’t intersect, and will go on for
ever.
Qq• Quotient – The two numbers you divide with.
Rr• Radius – To measure a half a circle.
Ss• Second – Something that comes next after first.
Tt• Ten – The tenth number.

Vv• Volume – Something that takes up space.
Ww • Weight – The measurement of pounds.
Xx• X – Romen numeral number 100.
YyY-axis – The line that goes up in a number graph.
