Introductions

Background• KRS 158.844, the mathematics diagnostic assessment and

intervention services and program(s) selected must be:– provided to a student by a certified teacher with training in mathematics

diagnostic assessment and intervention services– based on reliable, replicable research; and– based on the ongoing assessment of individual student needs.

MITs• Must be highly trained, qualified and certified, with a minimum of 3 years

teaching experience• Provide small group interventions ½ of the day

– Recommended Group Sizes – 1 to 5 students

Register for WebexWebex Meetings will begin in September. If you are a first or second year MIT or an EERTI Leader, you will be automatically registered and will receive a confirmation email. Experienced MITs (level 3+) who are not EERTI Leaders should register for a monthly meeting of their choosing—go to the KCM Calendar (http://kymath.org ).
