How do I find information on my topic?

• Click the drop-down menu by “Research by Subject”

• Click on “Business – CGPS” to access suggested research resources

• Click the “GO” button

• Click on the name of a database to begin searching

• Enter your keywords on the search boxes

• Notice the “Phrase” options. This keeps your terms side-by-side

• Use the “Article Types” menu for different results

• Click Search

• Click any article title on the search results page for more information on the article

• Click “View PDF” or “View HTML” to view article

• Click on a “Keyword” or “Key Readings” to find similar article

• Enter your keywords

• Consider using some of the “Limit your results” options

• Click Search

• Enter a company name or ticker symbol• Click “Search”

• Use the Tabs to navigate to different company data• Click the “Industry Reports” tab to get a profile of that industry • Click the “News” tab to get current articles on that company• Click “Annual Reports” for company reports

• Use an “asterisk” for multiple word endings - *

• Phrase Searching - quotation marks

• Avoid stop words like: in, an, of, for, on, by
