Indications MediHealth Dry Tickly Cough Medicine provides relief from a dry irritating unproductive cough associated with the common cold, sinusitis, influenza and respiratory tract infections for up to 8 hours, with a mild sedative effect. Pholcodine is a cough suppressant used for the relief of a non-productive cough, it has a central action on the cough centre in the medulla (brainstem). Each 10mL of oral liquid contains: Pholcodine 10mg

Directions for use DO NOT GIVE TO CHILDREN UNDER 6 YEARS OF AGE *Give to children 6-11 years only on the advice of a doctor, pharmacist or nurse practitioner.

AGE DOSAGE EVERY 6-8 HOURS WHEN NECESSARY

CHILDREN 6 to 11 years* 5 to 10mL 3 to 4 times a day *

ADULTS AND CHILDREN 12 years and over 5 to 10mL 3 to 4 times a day

Precautions • If coughing persists, consult your doctor or pharmacist. • This medication may cause drowsiness. If affected, do not drive a vehicle or operate

machinery. Avoid alcohol. • Contains 15.5g/40mL of sorbitol (maximum recommended dose) which may have a

laxative effect and cause diarrhoea. Also contains methyl hydroxybenzoate, propyl hydroxybenzoate, sodium chloride and sodium saccharin.
