Mary Beth Oliver received the International Communication Association’s B. Aubrey Fisher Mentorship Award at the ICA conference. Shyam Sundar was named an ICA Fellow. More than 20 faculty and graduate students presented research at the conference and at the workshop held before the conference that was co-sponsored by the Institute for Information Policy. Student Achievement A story by Scott Cikowski on Victoria Square in Greece was the national winner in the television news and feature photography category of the Mark of Excellence Awards presented by the Society of Professional Journalists.
