Region 10 - MINING INDUSTRY AT A GLANCE
Year 2016 was both an inspiring and a challenging year for the Mines and Geosciences Bureau

forward and work together for the development and improvement of the mining industry with strict
compliance to the mandates of R.A. 7942, the Philippine Mining Act of 1995 and its
implementingRules and Regulations. This was made possible through linkagingwhich resulted to
a harmonious relationship with the LGUs, NGAs, NGOs and mining companies.
