Micro planning is the process of assessing,prorotising & documenting needs of the local community. It is most essential step for preparing community level development plan.

• Interaction with individuals, groups, and cross section of the community in an informal way

• Selection of village animators to support you in rapport building

Rapport building is the process of creating trust through a positive relationship

Rapport building through EPA

EPA may be a bundle of different Bundle of different activities and not necessarily a single activity for a village.

EPA need not be capital intensive. Prefer low cost activities

Villagers should not be encouraged for such entry point activity which may disrupt communal harmony at village level.

Entry Point Activities should be identified to strengthen the rapport and address some immediate needs of the community

Situation analysis helps to understand the environment and local conditions of the project area.

Methodology

• Baseline • Use of PRA tools• FGD• SWOT analysis to identify

strengh,weekness & opportunity of different sectors.

• Objective & strategy for each sector

Livelihood analysis is the process of analysising different sectors, to know its strength and weakness

to formulate a action plan

Prioritization

• Prioritization of problems• Prioritization of possible solutions • Identification of priority patches

for treatment and development of treatment plan

• Prioritization of possible commonly agreed solution for year wise execution

Negotiation Process

• Negotiation with community for the possible solution and ownership/contribution/partnership/responsibilities etc.

• Development of action plan with responsibility and timeline for one year

• Development of indicative plan for 5 years

• Comprehensive plan for one year

Documentation and presentation

• Documentation of the process and findings

• Presentation to WA for approval • Approval in DWDC• Follow up with WC on actions/

improvement/ modification of LMP
