Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 – Installation Screen Shots

***Please be sure to uninstall any trial versions of Microsoft Office that may exist on your

computer before attempting to install this software.***

1. Download the Office executable (.exe) file to the computer’s desktop. Double click the

file to “run” it.

2. Click Yes when asked if you want to allow the following program from an unknown

publisher to make changes to this computer.

3. Click Run.

4. You may have to hit Next to move on to the next screen which shows the installer being

installed.

5. Make sure “Run the MS Office Professional Plus 2010 installer” is checked and then

click Finish.

6. If asked to choose the type of installation you want, choose Upgrade.

7. Allow the installer to run.

8. Hit Close.

9. Press Yes to restart the system which will finish the installation.

10. Open Microsoft Word and activate the software over the Internet, then click Next.

11. When the activation is finished, close the wizard.

12. After several moments, select Use Recommended Settings and press OK.

13. Close Microsoft Word, go to the Start menu and select Windows Update from the list of

programs. This is to get the latest

14. Click Check for Updates.

15. Wait while Windows Update checks for new updates.

16. Install any necessary updates by clicking Install Updates.

17. Wait while updates are installed.

18. Re-check for updates to make sure there are no more.

19. If no additional updates are needed, congratulations, you have successfully installed

Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010! You can now begin using programs such as

PowerPoint 2010, Word 2010, Excel 2010, Access 2010, Publisher 2010, Outlook 2010,

and more.
