DESCRIPTION
Middlesbrough Writers Group formed in the early 1960's in Middlesbrough, meeting at Acklam Library and continued through to the 1990's, one of the longerst standing groups in the area, boasting a number of published novelists, Eleanor Fairburn (The Green Popinjays, Golden Hive, The White Seahorses etc.) Barbara Gamble. The group was based around writing for the market and averaged about 30 members. This is one of their Tip's booklets - now a bit outdated but still might offer some useful tips to writers.
