The McCloskey AggStorm™ range takes washing to the next level by providing robust and reliable equipment for the most challenging applications.
The AggStorm™150 is a modular design plant to remove harsh, clay-bound material from natural and crushed gravel, stone and ore feeds that cannot be removed by rinsing or screening alone. AggStorm™ is an effective solution to be used in the aggregate and mining industries.
The log shafts rotate in opposite directions and are timed to obtain an overlap of the paddle shoes for maximum scrubbing action.

Power - Two 22kw electric motors.
Shaft drive - Two belt driven synchronised high torque planetary gear boxes – belts fully guarded, shaft speed changes can be easily done by changing the drive pulleys to alter throughout and retention time depending on feed rate.
Shafts - Twin shafts with heavy wall tube and welded saddles in a spiral arrangement to reduce impact loading on shafts and reduce power consumption.
Blades - Heavy duty manganese steel cast blades – blade weight kept under 20 kg to ease manual lifting during installation.
Shaft Bearings - Large diameter sealed spherical roller bearings incorporating remote greasing. Lower bearing is removed from the hull wet area and protected from water ingress by shaft slinger and removes the need for troublesome water flush gland packing system, and bearing temperature sensors.
Hull - Internal length 7.25m – heavy duty 8mm plate hull body with reinforcing ribs, hull incorporates side access doors (patent pending) to allow clean out of entangled contaminants, blade changing and spray bar nozzle unblocking.
Spray bar system - Incorporates 3 independently controlled spray bars, one each side of hull (recycling applications) and one centre bar, each bar has a valve at the end for ease of clean out.
Feed point - Material inlet area directs the feed stream to prevent entrapment of lightweight contaminants.
OPTIONS:-
Variable speed drive (VSD) gives extra flexibility to allow control of shaft speed for variations of the feed material.

All of our control systems can be modified to suit customer preference and interact with other equipment on site as required.
MACHINE CONTROL SYSTEMMWS offer a range of control system options on the AggStorm™ Modular Wash Plant from basic motor isolators on the machine to fully automated controls. Graphical user interfaces are used for ease of operation. All key data such as water flow, pressure, motor current etc. is displayed in real-time to allow operators to keep a close eye on all aspects of the machine. Common functions include automatic start / stop, feeder speed control and conveyor radial drive.

RADIO CONTROLAll major control and automation functions are also available via Radio Control. Our robust transmitter handset is kept with the operator to ensure safe and easy control of the machine.
REMOTE DIAGNOSTICSThe highest level of control allows all key data to be transmitted wirelessly to a second graphical user interface located in the cab of the loader feeding the AggStorm™. This option gives complete control and information feedback to the machine operator from the comfort and safety of the operating cabin. All operational data as well as any fault codes and parameters are transmitted to the loader display module. This provides information and warnings to allow the operator to take the appropriate action in a controlled and timely manner.
