Process through which managers plan and specify job tasks and the work arrangements that has to be accomplished.

Provides a data-based approach to create job designs with good person-job fit that maximizes the potential for motivation and performance.

How GCM can be put into practice to make jobs more motivating?

JOB ROTATION

The periodic shifting of an employee from one task to another.

JOB ENLARGEMENT

Increasing the number and variety of task that a individual perform.

JOB ENRICHMENT

The vertical expansion of jobs it increases the degree to which the worker controls the planning, execution, evaluation of the work.

JOB REDESIGNRestructuring the elements including task, duties, and responsibilities of specific job in order to make it more encouraging and inspiring for the employees or workers.
