• Temperatures where he wants to use the parts

• Material(s) what we have to make tight, where we have to get adhesion to

• Resitance the customer needs for his product

(this 3 questions are the most important to find a possible adhesive)

2. Make spot test on the parts to get a first impression of the adhesion

• Make samples for the tests:

• For this you need a trial mould, where you can make samples in a proffesional way. Often you have to make the samples with different adhesives.

• The customer has to make all his tests, so that he will be sure that the parts fulfil all his requirements

• If the test are successfull go to the next step. If not, try it again. Try a new adhesive, try a new design.... There you will need all ideas (yours, of the customer, of the mouldmaker)

• After a successfull test procedure you will know the right designand the right adhesive.

• With the design you will be able to calculate how many cavitiesare possible.

• With the production figures of the customer, it will be possible to find the right machine for him.
