What does it mean to meet online?
Challenges (for staff?)
What does it mean to teach online, to run webinars?
?Best Practice?
From little things ~ the Platform
What do you think is Best practice?
What do we need to consider and include?

•Well attended online Endnote classes.
Some Feedback from class participants:….the idea of coming into the University to learn something apart from our timetabled classes is terrifying. The webinar was timed for the evening, and it could be done from anywhere that had an internet connection! I thought it was a great idea! Students would definitely sign up knowing they can learn and attend a seminar from the comfort of their home.
The webinar itself was informative and the fact there was a realThe webinar itself was informative and the fact there was a real person, in real-time on the other side explaining to us how to use EndNote was great.
Personally I'd attend many more of the webinars if there were more on topics I'd find useful.

Challenges: A vvery different way of presenting - no body language, can't see what others are seeing. Need to practice with colleagues
Challenges: new technology – (sometimes) not sure what’s being shared etc. Having a single monitor makes sharing a challenge. Need to give enough time to practice.

It was easy to follow on the screen what you were doing, font is small but quite readable.Content was at a great level, you assumed some knowledge but not too much.
All in all, an extremely good session, better that sitting in a boring lecture theatre!
