• 2003 the Atlantic Area Commander directed MLCA to provide VTC capability

at LANTArea, each of the four LANT Districts, MIFCLant, and MLCA

• Additional requirement was for 8 port classified bridge conferencing capability

• DoD DVSG contractor – SIGCOM – provided assistance and design

• Installed:

• 7 TANDBERG VTC suites

• SIGCOM Secure Enhancement Solution• SIGCOM Secure Enhancement Solution

• 8 port POLYCOM/ACCORD Bridge at the SECRET level

• USCG VTC has matured to over 75 conference suites enterprise wide, total of

118 VTC systems (standalone and installed) in use today

• Secure bridge capability increased to 16 ports

• 20 port unclassified bridge capability installed at Data Center Martinsburg

• Additional 16 port unclassified bridge planned for D.C Area

• Additional 16 port unclassified bridge planned for Pacific Area (Alameda)
