Interim Disability Assistance Programme for the Elderly (IDAPE)

• This is a government assistance scheme for needy and disabled elderly Singaporeans, who are not eligible for ElderShield because of their age or pre-existing disabilities.

• Payout from IDAPE = $100 or $150 a month, for a maximum period of 72 months.

• Criteria to meet to make a claim under IDAPE :– Unable to perform 3 or more of the 6 ADLs
