• A hero • A villain • The donor • The helper • The princess• Her father • The dispatcher • The false hero

One of Tzventan Todorov theories is that a narrative has 5 elements and these are:

• Equilibrium ( Happy Start)• Disruption • Realization • Repairing (The Damage)• Equilibrium (Happiness Restored)

Claude Levi – Strass theory is that the conflict is based around the binary opposites and that the binary opposites are the central climax of a narrative structure. He believes that every story should have:

• Hero – Villain • Weak – Strong • Christians – Pagans • Garden – Wilderness• Domestic – Savage

An example of a music video using Equilibrium Theory is Britney Spears Every time. This is a good example because it shows her having a good start, then she starts realising that she has had enough of the situation, then the videos starts to get violent and then at the end of the music video the problem is all sorted and the music video has a happy

ending.

An example of a flashback in a music video would be Macklemore same love. This is a very good music video because it tells a story by using past and present. In this music video is it very good the way they use the flashback and they do it very effectively.

An example of a Circular Narrative would be Pitball ft Kesha Timber. This is a good example because the music video starts and finishes at the same place which gives it a circular narrative.
