Nebulae: A stellar nursery!
DIVE IN THE SKY
COMENIUS PROJECTTURKEY
Hot balls of gas start their lives
begins in what astronomers call a nebula
(plural: nebulae) and they are basically
the nurseries of the Universe.
PRESENTATION
A nebula is a gigantic cloud of dust
and gas; mainly of hydrogen and helium
gases, and they can be light years across - that’s trillions of miles – imagine how many nurseries you
can fit into one of these ginormous star factories!
They look quite fuzzy in appearance - pretty much like
fluffy clouds or cotton wool in the sky.
Imagine having to go nursery in a
massive splattering of cotton wool?
DURINGT: The teacher prepared
some stars for the students but these
stars are not happy because they have
lost their light.
(Teacher passes the stars to students,
stars have sad face.)
T: Everybody has a star?Ss: Yess..T: Ok then, now get some
cotton and put it on your star and now
let’s wait for a while.
(Teacher have students listened
some bang sounds.)
T: Ok get the cotton on your star
and glue your star and put some glitter
dust on the star.T: Ok now, your star has
light. Now, remove the sad face from
the star and so your star is happy
now. Clap yourself.
This drama was developed by Rana
