Eco Village Farm School – NEED- Myanmar

OUR GOAL AND VISION

Goal Our goal is to create a progressive development

path for Myanmar, so that grassroots

communities have access to adequate

food security and secure livelihoods.

We promote integrative, sustainable farming

practices within Myanmar rooted in traditional

knowledge and Providing an

alternative to conventional agriculture.

Vision

We are committed to strengthening Myanmar

civil society, so that all people may benefit

from inclusive, community-based and

holistic development strategies anchored in

economically, environmentally and socially

sustainable practices. We believe in ensuring

that all people of Myanmar have access to

basic rights and can thrive with a secure

livelihood.

SUB OBJECTIVES

- To empower ten month intensive course to 30-40 youths from all over Myanmar to be

confident in practicing sustainable, organic agriculture, Livelihood development,

Environmental conservation, ecological development.

Alumni will give the train and conduct workshop to their communities with the

support of NEED.

To reduce use of chemical agriculture, to aware the local farmer saving their

local seed.

To create more income for poor families by train how to grow mushroom ,

etc……….

WHAT WE DONE IN LAST 2 YEARS

NEED-EVF have create a Training Center at Nyaung Bin Tharyar village, Hmawbi Township, Yangon Region

NEED-EVF had graduated already over 60 youth all over Myanmar about sustainable agriculture, Community Development and Environment conservation.

3 groups of Alumni are working on their own Sustainable organic modern farms by support of NEED.

Direct corporate network with organic growers

Create small scale Fund for poor farmers
