Arrival/ departure Sofia airport is located close to the city center (about 20 minutes’ drive). You can get a taxi from the airport to the center – it will cost less than 10 €.

Recommendation: take only taxi О.К. Супертранс with the phone number 973 21 21 on the cars

Public transport information From the Airport: You can reach the center and the hotel by public transportation – bus numbers 84 and 184 and Metro Line 1. There are colour lines on the floor of the airport – blue line for the metro, red line for the buses and yellow line for taxis. For more information please visit: https://www.sofia-airport.bg/en/passengers/and-airport/public-transport Ticket prices: Single ticket – BGN 1.60 (Leva) Daily ticket – BGN 4.00 (Leva) At Sofia Airport you can buy tickets for the public transport at the kiosks of Urban Mobility Center in the public areas of Terminal 2, as well as from a ticket vending machine, installed at Terminal 1 Arrivals public area. The machine works with Bulgarian levs and coins and the issued tickets are valid for the bus lines. Ticket machines for metro tickets are located at Sofia Airport Metro Station. The ticket machines accept Bulgarian banknotes and coins, and one of them accepts credit cards as well. Passengers with regular transport documents are allowed to take up to 2 pieces of hand luggage on public transport vehicles free of charge. Any additional pieces of luggage are charged with a separate transport document.
