• My magazine is going to be Indie and has a sub genre of

Indie rock

• I’m designing it for 17-24 year olds

• My Magazine will target a male and female audience,

but its mostly male dominated

• Its going to cost £3.50 as a monthly magazine

MY AUDIENCE PROFILE

• Here are some examples of Indie Rock bands that are

already existing. My audience would probably listen to

• Arctic Monkeys

• Two door cinema club

• The Courteeners

• The vaccines

BANDS UNDER THIS GENRE

• The name of my magazine is ‘The Scene’

• Originally I was going to cut my title out of magazine print titles but when I thought this through again I thought this idea was quite childish and didn’t really

suit the older people of my target audience

• I decided to create a more simple sophisticated look inspired by the NME title as I really like how they

layout their magazine

TITLE OF MAGAZINE

I’m going to change the colours of my title so that it’s not exactly the same as the NME magazine

• I’m going to take a large central photo for

my magazine

• It’s going to include bold writing explaining what’s inside of Arial

font

• The writing wont be too bright because I don’t

want it to take attention away from the main

image but I still want it to be visible and easy

to read

• These are some ideas of double page spreads

• It will be set out with a large image taking one side of the page, then a large image on

the other

• These magazines look really effective due to their layout,

they are attractive and persuade people to read it
