Great wines are not born just anywhere, by accident. A unique set of climatic and geological conditions combine to form a rare equilibrium.This is undoubtedly the case at Yquem, which epitomizes all that is best about the singular winegrowing environment in Sauternes. __

Les grands vins ne naissent pas par hasard, sur n’importe quelle terre. Un ensemble de circonstances climatiques et géologiques combinées en un rare équilibre fait que l’on peut véritablement parler, pour Yquem, d’un « génie du lieu ». Ici se concentrent en une rare alchimie tous les éléments favorables du Sauternais.

Château la Gaffelière evokes a great wine, a 1st Great Growth since the beginning of St Emilion’s classification in 1959.This wine comes from an exceptional terroir, a “golden triangle” nested between the hills of Pavie and Ausone.But a great terroir is nothing without the willingness of men. The family de Malet Roquefort has run the estate with passion for more than 3 centuries, with a single purpose: upgrading the vineyards whilst producing an amazing ageing wine.__

Château La Gaffelière évoque tout d’abord un Grand Vin, 1er Grand Cru Classé depuis l’origine du classement de Saint-Emilion, en 1959. Ce cru émane d’un terroir exceptionnel, un « triangle d’or » niché entre les collines de Pavie et d’Ausone.Cependant, un grand terroir n’est rien sans la volonté des hommes. La Famille de Malet Roquefort dirige avec passion la destinée de la propriété depuis plus de trois siècles, avec un seul but : la valorisation du vignoble tout en produisant un grand vin de garde.

The Prieuré de Saint Jean de Bébian, one of the oldest wine estates in Languedoc, is today a reference among the French wines. The domain stretches over 32 hectares, that the Romans already cultivated in the Antiquity. In the 1970s, the estate underwent major transformations. Whereas the old Mediterranean grape varieties (Cinsault, Carignan) were carefully preserved, “noble” grape varieties (Syrah, Grenache) were planted. Since 2004 Karen Turner has preserved the same philosophy of full, sensual wines which make Bébian unique in the Languedoc.__

Le Prieuré de Saint Jean de Bébian, l’un des plus anciens domaines du Languedoc, est aujourd’hui une référence parmi les vins français. Le domaine s’étend sur 32 hectares que les romains cultivaient déjà sous l’Antiquité. Dans les années 70, le domaine de Bébian subit d’importantes transformations. Alors que les vieux plants méditerranéens (cinsault, carignan) sont soigneusement conservés, des cépages « nobles » (syrah, grenache) sont plantés. Depuis 2004, Karen Turner continue à développer la même philosophie autour des vins sensuels et gourmands de Bébian qui en font un domaine unique en Languedoc.

The Château Lafon-Rochet has been owned by the Tesseron family since 1960. Michel Tesseron has been managing the estate since 1999 and considerably renovated it in order to ensure Lafon-Rochet a location worthy of a cru classé. His son, Basile, joined the company in 2007 and together they have been creating one of the most silky and luxurious wines of this appellation.__

Le Château Lafon-Rochet est la propriété de la famille Tesseron depuis 1960. Michel Tesseron gère la propriété à plein temps depuis 1999 et a considérablement rénové les installations pour redonner à Lafon-Rochet un cadre digne d’un cru classé. Il a été rejoint par son fils Basile depuis 2007 et ils élaborent ensemble quelques-uns des vins les plus soyeux et sensuels de l’appellation. Saint-Estèphe, France

Wine has always been a common passion in the Moulin and Cathiard families, who joined together in 2014 to take over 4 wine estates in the Bordeaux wine region, one of which was Château Beauregard, whose roots in Pomerol go back to the 12th century. “At Beauregard, our aim is to restore the deserved prestige of the vineyard and reveal the charm of the estate to both wine professionals and the general public. Drawing on our values of sharing, tradition and transmission, our commitment is long-term, in order to develop and enhance these estates and, in so doing, spread l’art de vivre à la française”. __

Le vin est depuis toujours une passion commune aux familles Moulin et Cathiard qui se réunissent en 2014 autour de 4 domaines viticoles de la région Bordelaise, dont le Château Beauregard, ancré dans l’histoire de Pomerol depuis le XIIe siècle.“Avec Beauregard, nous avons l’ambition de rendre à ce vignoble tout le prestige qu’il mérite et souhaitons faire découvrir le charme de ce domaine aux professionnels comme au grand public. En s’appuyant sur nos valeurs de partage, de tradition et de transmission, notre engagement s’inscrit dans la durée pour développer ces domaines et contribuer grâce à eux, à faire rayonner l’Art de Vivre à la Française”.

What led Marc Rinaldi to carry out his project? He wanted to gather the best patches of land, the most talented and committed winegrowers - especially to biodynamic farming -, as well as dedicated and demanding fine wine lovers, around the idea of making and ageing the best possible wines, while bringing out the distinguished and specific character of each and every terroir.__

Ce qui a conduit Marc Rinaldi à mettre en œuvre son projet : réunir les plus belles parcelles, les vignerons les plus talentueux et les plus engagés – notamment dans la biodynamie – et des œnophiles passionnés et exigeants, autour de l’idée de réaliser et d’élever les meilleurs vins possibles. En donnant toute sa force à l’originalité et la spécificité des terroirs.

An old winery on the hillsides of Mount Etna has been brought back to life. Its terraced vineyard on the slopes of Etna is located at an altitude between 600 and 800 meters. The bright colors and perfumes tell the story of the winery’s unique location, on the most active volcanoes in Europe. __ Un ancien chai sur les flancs du volcan Etna ramené à la vie. Ses vignobles sont implantés en terrasse sur les pentes de l’Etna, à une altitude de 600 à 800 m. Les couleurs vives et les parfums racontent l’histoire de cet unique endroit, sur l’un de plus actifs volcans en Europe.

Covert Estate is the result of the collaboration and hard work of three families dedicated to the craft of winemaking. Cal and Pam Nicholson, library wine collectors and Vintners in Napa Valley; Dave and Laura Nestor, obsessive and extensive California wine collectors, equine hunters/jumpers and management gurus; and Julien and Elan Fayard, French winemaker, and Californian wine lovers with a legacy of making wine in both France and Napa Valley using traditional techniques to create wine filled with finesse and a sense of place.__

Covert Estate est le résultat de la collaboration et du travail acharné de trois familles dédiées à l’art de la vinification. Cal et Pam Nicholson, collectionneurs de vins et vignerons dans Napa Valley; Dave et Laura Nestor, grands collectionneurs de vins californiens, passionnés de la chasse à cheval et d’équitation et gourous du management; Julien et Elan Fayard, vignerons françaises, et passionnés de vins californiens avec expérience dans la vinification, en France et en Napa Valley, centrée sur l’utilisation de techniques traditionnelles et finalisée à la création des vins de grande finesse et avec une forte identité.
