People living in Egypt can experience diverse weather hazards such as droughts, earthquakes, flash floods, landslides, windstorms (called khamsins), dust storms, and sand storms.
The first magazine ever created was launched in 1663 in the country of Germany.
The women of Iran have woven beautiful rugs for over 2,500 years. One rug can take months or even years to complete, depending on its size. The country’s second largest export, after oil, is Persian carpets.
Jordan has a long history of accepting refugees into their country. Situated in the midst of turmoil, Jordan has an estimated 2 million Palestinian and 1.4 million Syrian refugees residing within their borders. This represents over a third of its total population.
The nation of Tonga, scattered over a vast ocean of about 270,000 square miles, is an archipelago made up of 169 islands, of which only 36 are inhabited.
Falcons are very special birds in the United Arab Emirates. They hold a place of pride in the country’s history, helping local Bedouins hunt in the desert. There is even a falcon hospital in Abu Dhabi which examines and treats over 11,000 falcons each year!

Equipment: Various Items for Orphans & House Parents
This project was completed just a few weeks before Christmas of 2017. As we aproach another Christmas season, we want to share with you just how much your generous giving has impacted the lives of children around the world!
A washing machine was provided for each of two homes in Nepal. Sumitra (pictured below), cares for a family of nine, including her husband, two biological
daughters, and five boys brought into their family through Hope’s Promise.
A team from Hope’s Promise visited the family in April of this year and Sumitra was quick to lead them into a small room where she uses this beautiful new washing machine. Expressing her deep gratitude, she said, “I no longer spend hours doing laundry by hand. I am able to spend more time with the boys and maintain my other household activities. Thank you to everyone at Mission Projects Fellowship!”
Sumitra’s five active boys!
Born with severely crossed-eyes, ten-year-old Davinia’s doctors recommended correctives eye glasses in the hope that they could be corrected enough to avoid surgery.
After receiving the eye glasses, her caregiver says, “I thank God that Davinia has been given new eyes.”
This is something they could never have been able to afford for her and feel blessed because of this gift.
Davinia has dived back into reading, which she loves very
much!!
Last year, Trung obtained an old, borrowed laptop with a non-working keyboard for which he hooked up a separate keyboard in order to prepare for his first semester college exams. His house parents were very impressed by his humility and determination to complete his school work.
After receiving his new laptop through MPF, he was speechless: “I'm very thankful to God because I’ve never thought that He would answer my prayer fast like this! I also feel thankful to the [MPF] sponsors.”
Bicycles are important to students in rural provinces who use them to go to and from school each day.
In the mountains around Dak Nong where one of the Hope’s Promise families live, the roads are dirty and rough and bicycles tend to break down easily.
Dieu Thein often arrives home with his face and clothes dirty from having to fix his bike. He was overjoyed to learn that he along with five other Hope’s Promise children were to receive new bicycles!
MPF also provided funds for a motorbike for three college students to share as they travel back and forth to their classes and part-time jobs. It saves them much travel time and allows them more time for their studies.
Pictured on the bike are Toan & Trung
Thrung: “I will do my best so
that the sponsors will
not be disappointed.”
Dieu Thein: “I will keep it clean, use it always, and share it
with the other children.”
With twelve children in each of the two Hope’s Promise Kenyan homes, it is often difficult to maintain comfort, beauty, and organization all at the same time.
The two new microwaves come in handy when the kids have to study late at night and need to heat a cup of tea to keep warm or for making or heating up leftover food.
The old blankets and mattresses that the children had were worn out and very uncomfortable. With their new bedding, the kids now sleep much better and stay warm throughout the night!
Two new wardrobes also make life easier . Several boys had been storing some of their clothes in a different room or under their beds. They now have a wardrobe where they can store all their things in one place. The girls also received a wardrobe where they now keep all their clothes.
Also funded through MPF was a deep freezer which allows families to buy food in bulk, saving them money and time spent going to the store.

# 642 UIM Int’l - Aviation
UIM-Aviation provides support services to
missionaries, native pastors, and organizations
who are reaching remote people groups in
Mexico with the Gospel. The mechanics often
need new equipment to keep their aircraft
running smoothly and safely.
This project will provide various tools and
equipment for aircraft maintenance and their
ground facilities.

CENTRAL ASIA
An opportunity has developed for Reach Beyond to partner
with a clinic in Central Asia and administer primary health care
in surrounding neighborhoods. This clinic is the headquarters
for “health caravans” which go into remote, rural villages for
health care. Several specialized pieces of life-saving machines
are urgently needed so that doctors and nurses can be better
prepared for emergencies. www.reachbeyond.org
Equipment : External Defibrillator, AED Training System,
Defibrillator and Monitor, Arrhythmia Trainer,
and Portable EKG Machine
# 644 OneWay Africa
Project Cost: $8,500
NORTHERN GHANA
Namongbain Village Project: OneWay Africa focuses on
unreached people groups in Northern Ghana. Among them
are the Komba people. To reach them, missionaries will
develop relationships by giving them 100 water filtration
systems ($35 each) and distributing 100 solar-powered
BiblePlus+ audio players ($50 each). MPF will provide a
filtration system and an audio player for each of the 100
families in the village. www.owm.org
Note: Funds for 50 Water Filtration Systems will be
raised through our GoFundMe page:

ICM reaches out to people groups in South Asia
where is there little to no Bible curricula available.
Most of these people are illiterate. This project is
for 550 solar-powered Audio Players, pre-loaded
with established Biblical material called the Mini
Bible College. This is taught at a level that is easy
to understand and in their heart language. They
also need 40 USB Flash Drives with the same
Bible material installed. www.icm.org

After receiving 10 bunkbeds that MPF funded earlier this
year, Pastor Enosh and the children at Peace Children’s
Home were so grateful! We were recently informed that
there is a need for more beds because there are still children
sleeping on mats on the floor. This project is for 15 metal
bunk beds ($250 each).
Pastor Enosh also works with over 250 village pastors who
go to unreached villages with the Gospel. They are asking for
3 motorcycles ($1,500 each) to help them reach more
villages. www.thunderzoll.org

SAT-7 is a satellite television station broadcasting
in the Middle East and North African regions
where they produce Christian programs in Arabic,
Farsi, and Turkish languages. About 80 percent
