Diploma Entrance Examination DET 2012-13

The admission to the Diploma courses is done on the basis of Diploma Entrance Examination (DET) which is scheduled in the Month of April 2012.

The student has to fill the farm and OMR which will be available in all the Govt. polytechnics.

The filled forms along with the OMR forms are deposited to the collection centers.

The admit cards will be available on the website www.hscs.org one week before the entrance examination.

The candidate has to appear for the entrance exam at the venue mentioned in the admit card.

The result of the entrance examination will be available online on the website www.hscs.org

The candidates have to register him / her on the website www.hscs.org for the registration fee payment of Rs. 500/-. As soon as the candidate registers himself online he/she will get a slip through which the fee is to be deposited in axis bank or PNB Bank

Important Information

The candidates are requested to visit the nearby Govt./Govt. Aided Polytechnic for online registration and choice filling where a help desk has been prepared for the help of admission seekers (The candidates are advised not to fill choices in the cybercafé as they will charge money for registration and choice filling. Moreover there are chances of misuse of the password as a person having password can change/ cancel / alter the choices filled by the candidate)

Benefits of getting admissions through central counseling done by HSCS.

Top 10% of the number of candidates appeared in DET (Diploma entrance exam) or top 10% of candidates appeared in counseling for courses like Diploma(Pharmacy), Diploma(Mgmt.) & Diploma(Hotel Mgmt.), where entrance exam is not conducted, are given scholarship by HSCS upto Rs. 20000/- per student per year or actual tuition fee whichever is less.

Top 25% girl candidates out of the number of candidates appeared in DET (Diploma entrance exam) or top 25% girl candidates out of the number of candidates appeared in counseling for courses like Diploma(Pharmacy), Diploma(Mgmt.) & Diploma(Hotel Mgmt.), where entrance exam is not conducted, shall be considered for respective scholarships. are given scholarship by HSCS upto Rs. 20000/- per student per year or actual tuition fee whichever is less.

Scholarship upto Rs. 20000/- per student per year or actual tuition fee whichever is less to Haryana Govt. School Topper (HGST) students admitted through central counseling in Diploma(Engg.) course is given by HSCS.

Scholarship upto Rs. 20000/- per student per year or actual tuition fee whichever is less, is given to first 50 Haryana Govt. Secondary School Topper (HGST) girl candidates.

Prize of Rs. 21,000/- each to First 3 position holders in Diploma Entrance Test (DET) conducted by HSCS.

Prize of Rs. 21,000/- each to First 3 position holders in each branch of Diploma Examination conducted by State Board of Technical Education, Haryana

Benefits to SC Students

Post Matric scholarship scheme by Govt. of India for SC welfare will be given by Deptt. of SC Welfare to the students who get admission through centralized counseling and their parents/ guardian income is less than 2.00 lacs.

As per the scheme of Technical Education Department, benefit is available to SC students admitted through central counseling only and their parents / guardians income from all sources is more than Rs.1.00 lacs and does not exceed Rs. 2.40 lacs per annum
