Putting Our Best Paw Forward for Homeward

Bound K-9’s

Projects like this will reach many people and they will tell others, and those people will share the information with their children. In the years to come the community will be educated about the need for spaying and neutering pets and how to properly care for them.

We plan to gather raw materials and raise monetary means through fundraising.

Placement of paw-print canisters in various places to collect needed materials.

Easter basket silent auction.Flyers to get the word out.

And that we did

Homes needed…

Our overall goal is to benefit Homeward Bound K-9’s. Through experience and research we hope to gain a new perspective on pet ownership and spread our knowledge with all we encounter. Academically we want to take the information we learn in class and apply it to do more community projects in the future.

In addition to our efforts to benefit Homeward Bound K-9’s we also worked towards having a positive impact on our community by:

Educating local citizens, NWACC students and faculty, and co-workers of the need of donations for groups like HWBK-9’s with flyers

Information from www.homewardboundk9s.com to encourage proper treatment of dogs and what each person can do to help.

Still looking for a home….

I foresee a dog wash for the Good Shepard Animal Shelter in Eureka Springs, AR by the therapist at New Moon Spa

I am sure Julie will keep helping those in need by holding silent auctions
