What is ozone pollution?
Nitrogen oxides (NOx) + Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) + hot, long summer sun= ozone pollution.
What is PM 2.5 pollution?
"Particulate matter," also known as particle pollution or PM, is a complex mixture of extremely small particles and liquid droplets.
Particle pollution is made up of a number of components, including acids (such as nitrates and sulfates), organic chemicals, metals, and soil or dust particles.

What is PM 2.5 pollution?
Can occur year-roundCan be blown for dozens or hundreds of miles.
Ex. puff of exhaust from a diesel truck in LA can end up over the Grand Canyon.
Smog, including PM 2.5 obscures the Smoky Mountains
What is PM 2.5 pollution?
Particulate matter 2.5 micrometers in diameter.
