STATE NICKNAME AND MOTTO My state nickname is The Buckeye State.

My state motto is “With god, all things are possible.”

ORIGIN OF STATE NAME

The origin of the state name is Ohio derives from the Iroqua’s Indian word meaning “ good river “ or “ large river.”

NAME OF RESIDENTS, AND BORDERING STATES, OR COUNTRY

The name of Ohio’s residents are called Ohians.

Here are some of Ohio’s Bordering states/countries are Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Kentucky, Indiana, and Michigan.

The only large city of Ohio is Columbus.

The population of Ohio is 11,570,808 people.

There are 13 stars near a circle, the circle is in the middle of a blue triangle, and in the back round is red , and white stripes.
