Fort Morgan Waiver Procedure

• Pilot must open NOTAM 30 minutes in advance of flying in waivered airspace.

• Open NOTAM my calling Prescott FSS 877-487-6867.

• Request to post NOTAM using terminology similar to: “Aerobatic activity xx zulu to yy zulu - 2 nm radius around FMM surface to 6000’ AGL.”

• Give them your name and phone number.

• Sometimes they have the previous NOTAM on file.

• Call Denver Center Air Traffic Control and advise the same minimum 30 minutes before flying

• First phone number is 303-651-4245

• Second phone number 303-651-4252

• These people sit close to each other in Longmont and coordinate overall air space for civil and military operations. Please call both numbers.

• You can call all three of these numbers before you leave for FMM if you wish so box is open upon arrival.

• At FMM, read the full waiver and fill out the log sheet in the FBO office each day you fly.

• Residences are on south side of box. Avoid as practical to be good neighbors.

• Call all three numbers when you are done and close session.

• Full Waiver and this procedure are on the IAC Chapter 12 website.

• Nighttime aerobatics are not permitted unless you coordinate this withDuncan Koerbel ahead of time.

• Go Fly. Be safe.
