OSLC Lunch Ministry offers a free lunch every Friday, from Labor Day through

Memorial Day. We are looking for more people to help cook and serve for this amazing Ministry.

Our Savior’s Lutheran Church Fall/Winter Worship Hours

Beginning September 6-7, 2014

October 4th is Shipping Day.  Help is needed to pack the trailer, deliver the boxes of Kits to Zion Lutheran Church in

Rockford, and unpack our trailer into their big trailer.  Please be at the Commons at 8:45.

Reminder:  Sewing Bee will be packing all the Kits and moving the

Boxed Kits to the Commons on Monday, September 29th beginning at 8:30 a.m.

Our Savior’s Lutheran Church Mosquito Net Fundraiser

The next few weeks we will be collecting money to purchase mosquito nets.

Our goal as a congregation is $1000, but we don’t have to stop there. Every $10 raised a net can be purchased for a family in Africa to help

prevent malaria. Vacation Bible School has already raised $480. (That is 48 Nets) Place your donation in the designated container located in the

Commons.

First-ever OSLC Tailgate Party, Sept. 28, starting at 11:30 a.m.

We'll tailgate in the parking lot, then watch the Packers/Bears game together. Please bring your

favorite tailgate food to share. Prizes will be awarded for best tailgate food and for best-decorated tailgate.

In the Hospital?If you are hospitalized or know someone from church who is

hospitalized and would like a visit, please call the church

office. Because of privacy laws, we don’t always hear when

members of our church are hospitalized.
