CAS experiences provide students with opportunities toexplore your interests and express your diverse passions, personalities and perspectives. CAS complements thechallenging academic programme in a holistic way, providing opportunities for self-determination, collaboration, accomplishment and enjoyment. A meaningful CAS programme is a journey of discovery of self and others. Inaddition, yourCASportfolio canbe auseful tool for the college admissionprocess, college interviews, and/or jobinterviewsandinternshipopportunities.

Q:IsthereaspecificframeworkthatIhavetouse?

A: Students should use the CAS stages (investigation, preparation, action, reflectionanddemonstration)asa framework for theCASprojectandsome(butnotall)CASexperiences.CASemphasizes reflection, which is central tobuilding a deep and rich experience in CAS. Reflection informs students’learning and growth by allowing you to explore ideas, skills, strengths, limitationsandareasforfurtherdevelopmentandconsiderhowyoumayusepriorlearninginnewcontexts.
