TheStephanieTubbsJonesSummerLegalAcademyisdesignedtointroducepromisingminoritystudentstothelegalprofession.Areahighschoolseniorswillparticipateinatwo-week,part-timeintensiveandveryinteractivelawinstitute.Thefacultyofjudgesandattorneyswillintroducetheparticipantstonumerouslegalissuesandcareeropportunities.

WHAT To ExPECTStudentswilllearnaboutthecriminalandcivillegalsystemsandmeetandlearnfromprominentjudges,lawyers,andlawprofessors.Thisisatuition-freeprogram!Andstudentswillhavetheopportunitytoearnaonemonthinternshipandastipend.Thetopstudentsintheprogramwillhavetheopportunitytoearnmodestscholarships.
