Very interested parents, however slow response time

Decided as a group to find another group to work with due to time constraints.

Contacted Kiddie Kampus regarding project on March 12, 2012.

Meeting with Kiddie Kampus about project on 3/14

Discussed agenda to begin project

Created calendar of events to build People Powered Float

- We received a list from the Humane Society asking for…food, towels, cat litter, dog and cat toys, treats, crates, beds, leashes, collar, medical supplies as well as larger items such as a canopy tent.

-We worked to fulfill practical items the animals need such as food and toys

-We have collected items individually

-We plan to have children from Kiddie Campus collect at least one item each to donate

-Kelly will organize a donation with her sorority as a philanthropy event

Bucket List

Volunteering

- As part of us giving back to the community and helping the humane society we chose to volunteer our time to the humane society.

- obstacles have been overcome by getting tetanus shot records, which covers us to handle animals.

- Our group has made a commitment to volunteer at-least 10 hours to the humane society.

People Powered Float- Using recycled material for the entire float

- Milk Bottles shaped like a dog house will be glued together to act as the main part of our float

- Stuffed animals will be overloaded into dog house

- 2 signs (Adopt me & Help wan-ted) with pictures of animals.

- Recycled medical boxes, cat litter boxes, food bags

- Pictures of children from Kiddie Kampus making the dog house project “as flowers” on the float.
