Permaglide® plain bearingsThe name Permaglide®, a registered trademark of KS Gleitlager, embodies the principle of permanently low-wear gliding. The use of plastic on a metallic base material has created a material combination that unites excellent gliding properties

with the load carrying capacity and heat conductivity of metal. The use of solid lubricants in the plastic matrix allows operation without oil or grease lubrication – these are Permaglide® plain bearings in material group P1, incl. P10. It is not

always possible to accomplish the tasks of a plain bearing application with products made from maintenance-free materials, however. In such cases, low-maintenance P2 materials are available.
