The Tango

Objectives:At the end of 60 minute period, the students should be able to:

Identify the proper rhythm and basic dance steps of the Tango;

Perform the basic steps of Tango properly with the music; and

Appreciate this social dance as a way of socialization and recreation.

You will be divided into (3) groups.

Each group will execute the basic Tango steps, the promenade, close position and step out position with partner. You are given 5 minutes to practice.
