Piano Settings by

F O R E W O R D

I have played a number of different keyboard instruments: the majestic

pipe organ, the Hammond B-3, various synthesizers, and even climbed up to

the bell tower and pounded my fists on the levers of the carillon keyboard. But

by far, my instrument of choice is the traditional acoustic piano. A combina-

tion instrument both of strings and percussion, it can produce a great many

moods, from exhilaration to quiet reflection.

That is what you will find in Amen, a little bit of blues-gospel, a bit of

Christian contemporary, some classical and even baroque moments, featuring

well-known songs that will undoubtedly bring the texts to the minds of the lis-

teners. Whether played for personal enjoyment or in a ministry setting, I pray

these arrangements will bring honor to Jesus Christ, to whom all glory is due.
