• Provide technical support in developing and managing projects to ensure quality implementation of all projects

• Engage Canadians on international development issues

• Advocate the Government to support international development

How We Work

• Helping communities to create and implement a long-term plan.

• We involve grassroots organizations, local and national governments.

• Nearly 90% are in the field.

• Our staff are highly-skilled professionals, and most were born in the areas we serve.

• CCCD is a development framework which guides all Plan’s work with children and communities.

• Its goal is that children and communities are able to meet the rights and needs of children through their participation in the development process at all levels.

• In order to promote real change, disadvantaged children and their families must be able to participate, make decisions and have ownership of the development process.
