Making Your Music “Licensing Friendly” When Uploading To OurStage

Song information can be submitted here while uploading tracks

Song lyrics should be submitted here while uploading tracks

Step #1: The Correct File Formats

When uploading your songs OurStage, be sure to include:1. WAV files of each song

2. WAV files of instrumental versions of each song (if you have it)

3. WAV files of clean edits of any song that has explicit lyrics

4. Lyrics to the tracks 

Step #2: Completing the “Song Registration” Form

Before music can placed, OurStage must know the following:

• Who owns the master rights• Names of others who may have paid for the recording• Names of vocalists, musicians or producers who

weren’t paid to create the track• Any current or past involvement with other labels• Inclusion of samples from pre-existing music 

Step #2 Continued:

In order to secure placement and to facilitate royalty payouts, OurStage will need the following information:• Who owns the publishing on each track• If your songs have been previously published• Names of any other songwriters who contributed to

your song• Your Performance Rights Organization (PRO), i.e.

SESAC, ASCAP, BMI
