DESCRIPTION
The first book of poetry by Cushag (Josephine Kermode) one of the Isle of Man’s best loved and most important poets. Although first published in 1907, it is the 1912 third edition of Poems which appears here. This final edition features some editing of previously published poems and even some new poems (including ‘The Sorrowful Crossing’, commemorating the 1909 sinking of the Ellan Vannin steamship).
