Join Purdue Extension Floyd County for
Pollinator Day 2019 Saturday, April 27, 2019
10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
Come spend the day learning about our native pollinators at this
free, family-friendly event. There will be classes, hands-on
activities for the whole family, a kids craft corner, lunch, t-shirts,
and vendors!
Booths include Native Bees, Butterflies, Pollinators and Our Food Supply,
Hummingbirds, Native Plants, Planting for Pollinators, Beeswax Lip Balm, a
Pollinator Selfie Booth, and much more.
Purdue University is an equal access/equal opportunity institution.
Classes:
Container Planting for Butterflies: 10:20, 11:30, 1:15, and 2:15
“Planting Your Yard for Birds” given by Sharon Sorenson 10:30
Bumblebees: 10:30 and 1:15
Monarchs: 11:30 and 2:15
Pollinator Day 2019 will be held at the Purdue
Research Park of Southeast Indiana.
The Purdue Research Park is located at 3000 Technology Ave.,
New Albany, across from Kohl’s on Charlestown Road. Please park
in the front of the building the entrance to the event will be near
the flag pole.
This event will be held rain or shine.
