• During COVID-19 pandemia we are offering for free 20 MOOCs in Coursera.

• And more that 35 courses to support small and medium enterprises

University provision of mental support in neighborhoods and families

• Through University platforms and social networks we are offering information and training to local vulnerable communitiesrelated with mental health, and preventingfamily violence and abuse.

• President Sánchez is one of the two nationaluniversity authorities that are part of the Social Coronavirus RoundTable (Committee).

The Round Table includes twoGovernment Ministers, the Chief of the Cabinet and the HealthMinister, other governmentalauthorities, two mayors, thePresident of the PhysicianAssociation, and the Presidents of the two most important universities(both are physicians).

University engagement in the public discourse on COVID-19? Coordination with national and local governments

• Our University coordinates thefollowing issues:

• Increase the number of lab exams or tests

• Improve detection of positive coronavirus cases and traceability of contacts

• Interdiscilinary reseach and policyproposal for mental health problemsrelated with the virus

• Suppont the development of a vaccine

University engagement in the public discourse on COVID-19? Coordination with national and local governments

• Joint effort between the University, BHP company, majors and local health authorities.

• Community-based mass detection system linked to Primary Care Centers in the Southeast Metropolitan zone of Santiago, Antofagasta Region and the city of Iquique.

• Community surveillance system for positive cases and their contacts

• Rapid serological testing on aprox. 200.000 people Expand PCR testing capacities to 2,000 per day.
