Where to Go• Visit a Clinical Psychologist at a School, a hospital,

NGO, or a Private Counselling center• The Center should be equipped to understand,

assess, screen and provide solutions• The center should have a remedial teacher• History Taking will include the following:• IQ Test, Dyslexia Screening Test• Check for Hearing and Check the eyes – Sahil’s example

• To avoid a difficulty to turn into a problem

• To help the child integrate into the mainstream.

• To help the family understand the difficulty

• To get remedial education and support at the right time.

• To make a child understand why they are not able to perform like others do

• To help the parents understand the severity of disability

• To identify and pinpoint the areas for remedial.
