WATCHING TV IS GOOD FOR YOU

1. Years ago, only rich people had televisions. Nowadays, televisions are in almost every home. The television has an important part in our lives and there are many good reasons why we should watch TV.

2. Watching TV is a cheap way of learning about many things: computers, new inventions, cooking, fashion, etc. Television brings the latest news to us. We can stay at home and know what is happening around us. When we watch TV, we can travel to any place in the world and even into space. We can learn about other people and other countries without leaving our living room.

3. Watching TV also provides entertainment. There are many entertaining programmes such as cartoons and Disney programmes. Modern life can be very busy and stressful. While watching TV, we can relax, smile and laugh.

4. Watching TV can be useful in bringing the family closer together. Watching TV is a favourite activity for many families. Many families sit side by side after dinner to watch the news or their favourite television programmes. Parents and children can discuss points in the programmes.

5. In conclusion, we believe that watching television, if used carefully, is not only useful but also entertaining and can bring a family closer together.
