The Scheme : TheJFJCMseekstoincreasethesustainabilityofADB-financedandadministeredprojectsthroughtheuseofadvancedlowcarbontechnologies.TheuseofgrantsundertheJFJCMwilldemonstratetheeffectivenessoftheJCMandprovideasourceofadditionalfundingtoeligibleADBdevelopingmembercountries(DMCs).
Purpose:ThefundaimstoprovidefinancialincentivesfortheadoptionofadvancedlowcarbontechnologiesinADB-financedandadministeredsovereignandnon-sovereignprojects.TheJFJCMwillprovidegrantsandtechnicalassistancetoADBprojectsutilizingtheJointCreditingMechanism(JCM).
