Project 1: Option A Vs Option B

§ Pros:§ Provides development team with “dev-ready”

UI assets.§ Theme provides all the UI assets needed to

make any new pages or features in the future.

§ Cons:§ More effort hours, duration and cost

§ Pros:§ Less effort hours, duration and cost

§ Cons§ No “dev-ready” UI assets.§ More UX remediation may be needed

throughout development and UAT.

Alternative Approach:“Combining UI/UX and New Feature Research”

12

Combining both ‘UI/UX’ and ‘New Feature’ research efforts may be worth considering because:

A. We may get limited opportunities to meet with stakeholders/agents/customers for both projects.

B. Having to separate ‘UI/UX’ topics from ‘New Feature’ topics during Team Work Sessions may frustrate stakeholders.

C. The intellectual knowledge gained during ‘UI/UX Research’ can be useful for ‘New Feature Research’.

13

At the conclusion of the combined ‘Research’ phase, the UI/UX Redesign track can continue…

14

…and the Strategic Roadmap track can continue.

Project 1: UI/UX Redesign

Project 2: Strategic Roadmap

Project Assumptions§ UX Team assumes the ‘Mobile Web’ and ‘CSS Portal’ applications contain

the same features as the Mobile App.

§ Scheduling stakeholders and agents will not delay the project.

§ Selective project team members availability during summer months.

§ UX Team will gain adequate access to competitor products for research.

17

Why UX Team§ Mobile-first UX is in our “wheelhouse”.

§ We have a lot of experience working with client dev teams.

§ We bring to the table UX design patterns and ideas from a wide variety of different clients, such as:§ B2C Retail Ecommerce§ Large Financial Institutions § Consumer Goods§ Film & Entertainment § Small Internet Startups

§ We are local, which enables us to be more flexible and available to:§ Perform onsite Team Work Sessions§ Visit local agents§ Accommodate fluctuations in stakeholder and team resource schedules
