LEVY OF PROPERTY TAX MMC ACT. 1949

Section 127(1) A –of the Maharashtra Municipal Corporation Act. 1949 enables Corporation to levy property tax on lands and buildings. The tax shall be levied at such percentage on Rateable value as fixed by Corporation under the provision of schedule chapter VIII Rule 7 of the Maharashtra Municipal Corporation Act. 1949
