PVSS software and patches as well as the Framework components are available for Windows and Linux on our section’s website and are only downloadable by authorised PVSS users who are registered at CERN…

Windows machines on the Cern network can install PVSS software and cumulative patches using the CMF packages…

The PVSS Linux distribution is repackaged by Cern as RPMs

Our first line-support deals with the following requests:Technical

Licence requests and sub-licence agreements

We do not directly deal with Front-End, DSS, LabView and Unicos requests

REMEDY is our main tool to follow up active support exchanges If needed, support cases are moved from REMEDY into SAVANNAH

First line support cases are often solved directly by REMEDY exchangesSometime we pass by at the client’s promises to understand the

problemMore complex issues are passed on directly the relevant specialist

Delegated to HR dept. for standardised:student application procedure certificate generationrevenue collection!

The course fee:Covers the cost of printed materials (money for EN)Contributes towards cost of the facilities in the Cern
