Approved Maintenance Program

• Maintenance Program Shall be Documented

– For Example CFR 91.409(f)(3) – Manufacturer’s Program

Recurring Defects

• Reoccurs 3 times in 15 flight segments.

• Maintenance Manager removes the aircraft from service

• Conducts an investigation into the root cause of the defect

• Aircraft remains off-line until Maintenance Manager is satisfied

that the source of the defect has been permanently fixed.
