The new Student Union Building opens in September 1970
1971The building is designed by Harry Gulesian and Associates of Boston, brick in construction with plenty of glass
The contractor was Park Construction Company of Boston
The new Student Union Building is dedicated in May 1971, three years after the groundbreaking ceremony
1971 Oklahoma! is one of the first productions to be performed on the new auditorium stage
1974 The town of Bridgewater issues a wine a beer licence to the Rathskeller, a pub located in the Student Union Building
