“Activities” MONTHLY REPORT
for what we did in NOVEMBER 2017
PRESIDENT’S PUTTING
Our first year under the Red Caps' banner concludes at the end of November. From my perspective the year has gone very quickly but has proved to be a highly successful year. Your Committee have worked very hard in ensuring the progress and success of the group and they will continue to do so. I wish to thank the members for the way they have embraced our first year and we will only go from strength to strength, as evidenced by our numbers each golfing day. I congratulate our winners for 2018.

Hi Peter.
I see u all are having a great time playing golf. Unfortunately I am unable to resume my golf.
I am at Epworth hosp undergoing tests to find out why I m loosing weight. I have lost 20kg over the past 2 months. Also I am not permitted to drive. It looks like my golf playing days are over. I have enjoyed my golf days at the club & will certainly miss all you guys.Glad that I am receiving yr emails & following all the action on the course.
Pl send my best rgds to the boys.
Charles
Recently one of our players was hit by a ball which had been hit by another of our players. Fortunately no serious injury was sustained, just a decent bruise on the leg. It's likely that the hit player was not visible to the other player, as he was among some trees.
To prevent this sort of incident happening, when someone is in the trees looking for his ball, or if two or three players are in there, then at least one buggy should be left where it can be seen by the next group. The player searching for his ball will usually have his buggy with him in order to minimize time spent in the trees, so one of the others should leave his buggy where it can be seen.
