Principal’s Report: I.N.O.K.T.B.A:

Students attendance in term 3

was very good - especially

considering all of the coughs,

colds and viruses that seemed

to be constantly circulating.

25 students attended school

every day. 75 students

achieved 96% attendance or

better for the term. Grade

5/6A again had the best

attendance with 70% of the

class away for only two days

or less. Well done kids!

Remember, those students

with 96% attendance for the

year will be invited to a free

trip to the water slide in the

last week of term.

Regional Athletics Finals:

Ava Faulkhead, Bryce Manzie

and Jemmika Douglas

travelled to Bendigo on

Monday to compete in the

Regional Aths Finals. All three

students did a wonderful job

with Jemmika coming 2nd in

the 1500 metre event.

Jemmika now travels to

Melbourne for the State Finals

in two weeks.

Alice in Operaland:

Students in grade 5/6 travelled

to Ranfurly Primary School

last Friday to see the Victorian

Opera production of “Alice in

Operaland”. Our students

enjoyed the experience and

challenge of the opera

performance - perhaps a once

in a lifetime opportunity for

most.

Grade 3/4 Excursion:

Students in grade 3/4 will be

travelling to the Mildura Show

tomorrow to participate in

National Water Week

activities.

Our students will be leaving

school at 10.15am and will

return by 1.45pm.

No Lunch Orders Friday:

The bakery has advised it is

unable to supply lunch orders

this Friday.

Students must bring their own

lunch to school on Friday.

Big Lizzie:

Students from grades 3 - 6 walked

to Barclay Square this morning to

help celebrate “Big Lizzie’s”

birthday.

Our students also went to

Diggerland Theatre to see some

historical movies and photos.

Well done kids - you were

fantastic ambassadors for our

school - again!

Mini Show:

The annual Red Cliffs Primary

School Mini Show will be held

this Friday, October 16th.

All students are encouraged to

enter as many sections as they

can. See last week’s

newsletter for full details.

Parents are invited to come and

tour our show during the

morning from 9.30am.

Grade 3/4 Camp/

Grade 2 Sleep-over:

Students in grade 3/4 will be

travelling to Swan Hill on

Wednesday 28th October to

participate in a 2 night-3 day

camp.

Permission notes and medical

consent forms must be returned to

school by next Friday. Payment

must also be finalised by next

Friday — parents having

difficulty meeting this deadline

are asked to contact me.

The grade 2 sleep-over will be

held on Thursday 29th October.

Mildura Show Entries: The Annual Mildura Show

is on this week, October

15th -17th. Selected

artworks of some of our

Grade Prep-6 students will

be entered into the visual

arts competition. We have

entries in painting,

drawing, collage, print

making, mixed media,

abstract design and book

covers.

We encourage everyone to
