BALAY SILANGAN REFORMATION PROGRAM

SABLAYAN, OCCIDENTAL MINDORO – The thirty-five (35)

reformist of Balay Silangan Reformation Center in Sablayan,

Occidental Mindoro graduated last May 10, 2019.

BARANGAYS AND DRUG FREE JAIL

FACILITY

CALAPAN CITY, ORIENTAL MINDORO – On May 29, 2019,

Regional Oversight Committee on Drug Clearing Operation validated

sixteen (16) barangays and revalidated twenty-five (25) barangays

in Oriental Mindoro. The Municipality of Gloria, Oriental Mindoro

was also declared as Drug Cleared Municipality. In addition, three

Jail Facilities from Oriental Mindoro (Bansud District Jail, Roxas

District Jail and San Teodoro District Jail) were also declared as

Drug Free Jail Facility. The Validation/revalidation and

declaration was held at Tamaraw Hall, Provincial Capitol Complex,

Calapan city, Oriental Mindoro.

DRUG FREE JAIL FACILITIES

SAN JOSE, OCCIDENTAL MINDORO – Twelve barangays were declared by the Regional Oversight Committee on Drug Clearing

Operation as drug cleared last May 30, 20119 at JDS Hotel, San

Jose, Occidental Mindoro.

TELE-RADIO PROGRAM

Drug Buster on Air: We Sail, We Fly, We Bust. The tele-radio program is hosted by Ms. Angeline O. Cusi and Ms.

Faye S. Faltado and aired every last Tuesday of the month from

12:30 - 1:00pm, live at 96.9 Radyo Natin Calapan and Calapan Cable

via Channel 72. Guest speaker for the month was Ms. Ariane P.

Arcos, Chief, Laboratory Section discussed the process of DRUG

TESTING.

MAY 2019 Topic: Brigada Eskwela, The 3rd PH-China Bilateral Meeting

on Drug Control Cooperation, Oplan Harabas 2 and Drug Testing.

Pasada

Personnel of PDEA MIMAROPA conducted drug test to the 236 drivers/

operators of different public utility vehicles in Calapan City,

Oriental Mindoro. PDEA Comics were also distributed during the

activity.

III, conducted Drug Free Workplace Symposium to all employees of

Jolly Waves Waterpark and Resort last May 6, 2019 followed by

surprise drug testing.

Pinamalayan, Oriental Mindoro – On May 8, 2019, Atty. Juno Korinna Concepcion-Mirindato, Regional Lawyer and Ms. Angeline

O. Cusi, POI III, conducted Drug Free Workplace Symposium to all

employees of Municipal Hall of Pinamalayan, Oriental Mindoro.

On May 29, 2019, IA I Erwin L Magcamit with IO I John Paul M

Robles, and IO I Eddieson R Sualog attended and conducted lecture

on the Grand Launching Ceremony of “Barkada Kontra Droga” with a

theme of “Pamayanan at Paaralan Magsama-sama! Sugpuin Ipinagbabawal

na Droga” at Sicsican National High School, Brgy. Sicsican, Puerto

Princesa City, Palawan.

During the said activity IA I Magcamit discussed the Ill

Effects of Illegal Drugs, Substance Abuse/drug abuse, the salient

features of RA 9165 also known as “Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs

Act of 2002” and the participation of schools in drug awareness

activity. PDEA comics are also distributed. The lecture had 50

participants composed of students, teachers and Barangay Officials

of Brgy. Sicsican.
